New Mexico Thrives values the privacy of our members, customers, and visitors. New Mexico Thrives collects information only to help us better serve our members and the nonprofit sector. It is our policy to collect and store only personal information that is knowingly provided to us. We do not share personal information. New Mexico Thrives also collects organizational information for research and member services.

This privacy policy explains our practices regarding the collection of information from this website that can personally identify you and/or your organization, and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

Personal Information Collected

Through New Mexico Thrives’ member database, New Mexico Thrives collects and stores contact information from individuals as it is knowingly provided to us, including email addresses. New Mexico Thrives does not distribute personal information or email addresses to third parties. We use this information to contact individuals via email and mail with additional resources that might be of interest, including upcoming events and trainings, new publications, or other resources. You may choose at any time not to provide personally identifiable information, although this may restrict our ability to provide requested services or information.

The following are examples of personally identifiable information that you may volunteer to provide and examples of how we use such information.

  • Email Addresses – New Mexico Thrives collects email addresses from those that create Online User accounts, subscribe to emails, or register for events. New Mexico Thrives may use your email address to send you emails from New Mexico Thrives, including marketing emails from New Mexico Thrives, member updates, or email newsletters. To unsubscribe to any or all of New Mexico Thrives’ emails, contact info@nmthrives.org.  New Mexico Thrives does not distribute email addresses to third parties.

  • Mailing Addresses – New Mexico Thrives collects mailing addresses of those that register for events or purchase memberships or items. New Mexico Thrives may send via mail member newsletters, brochures, or other promotional items. To opt out of any mailings from New Mexico Thrives, contact info@nmthrives.org.

  • Cookies - Many websites, including this one, use cookies - pieces of numeric data stored on your computer so that we can identify when you return to our website. New Mexico Thrives can only "read" cookies that are placed on your computer from our own website. Usage of cookies is not linked to any personally identifiable information. Organizational Information Collected

New Mexico Thrives includes website links available through the online Member Directory. Organizational contact information is also provided within the members-only accessible Member Directory.

All requests for service or assistance from New Mexico Thrives are strictly confidential. Financial Data Security

New Mexico Thrives uses NeonPay, an SSL encrypted credit card processor for all online financial transactions.  NeonPay adheres to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. New Mexico Thrives does not receive credit card account information.

Photographs

New Mexico Thrives solicits photographs from our members of their work, and occasionally selects quality photos for distribution via this website, social media, or other means. Photos are submitted with the understanding that they will be shared on public platforms.

How Long We Retain Your Data

For members that register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile indefinitely. All members can see, or edit their personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information. See CHOICE TO OPT OUT below for instructions on how to request removal of your data from New Mexico Thrives’ database.
 

Choice to Opt Out

New Mexico Thrives provides all individuals and customers the opportunity to opt out of mailing lists. If you are a member of New Mexico Thrives, have registered for an event, and no longer wish to receive promotional communications, you may opt out of receiving communications by contacting info@nmthrives.org. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
